Dr Biju Krishnan

Dr Biju Krishnan founded Growth and Airway to bring together the strands of a long career: craniofacial development, airway function, and the structural thinking behind how faces grow. He qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Dundee in 1993 and has practised dentistry for more than thirty years since.

His focus turned early toward interceptive, non-extraction orthodontics, and over the decades that followed he has treated patients, trained dentists, and built tools and organisations for the profession. He founded and served as Clinical Director of CFast, which grew into one of the UK's largest cosmetic tooth-alignment systems; created iConsentu, described as the first enhanced consent tool for general dentistry; and co-founded the Society for Dentofacial Growth and Function, a multidisciplinary group focused on children's health through early screening and integrative care.

He writes and teaches widely. He is the author of the first book on cosmetic tooth alignment, has published extensively in the dental press, and as an FDI Speaker lectures nationally and internationally. He holds board, editorial and advisory positions across several professional bodies. Growth and Airway is the practice he built to work the way he believes care should: structure, breathing and function understood together, from the start.
